The tree planting program remains intensified by the Central Jakarta Administration. This time, Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma, planted dozens of Tabebuya trees on social facilities (fasos) and public facilities (fasum) at Sudirman Park Apartment, Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang, Friday (1/5).
It aims to beautify the area
This land asset has been handed over by the developer to the Central Jakarta Administration to become social and public facilities asset.
Dhany Sukma admitted his side routinely plants tree every week at eight sub-districts in Central Jakarta.

He added that his party will intensify this program to make Central Jakarta areas greener.
According to him, social and public facilities in Central Jakarta which had been handed over by the developer to Jakarta Provincial Government will be used for urban farming program such as cultivating pok choy, chilies, and so on.
He hopes that local residents will participate in using their land by planting various types of plants.
"Central Jakarta area is dominated by office building. But we never stop to encourage residents in utilizing their land planting useful plants," he closed.
