Personnel Speed Up Inundation Handling in West Jakarta

Jakarta Regional Disaster Handling Agency (BPBD) noted five RTs are still inundated after moderate and heavy rain fell on Saturday (1/6) yesterday.

From seven goes to five RTs or 0.016 percent out of total 30,772 RTs

Isnawa Adji, agency head, said the number of inundated areas was declining by seven RTs at 12 PM.

"From seven goes to five RTs or 0.016 percent out of total 30,772 RTs. It is targeted to recede quickly," he said, Sunday (1/7).

BPBD: Puddles in Jakarta Have Receded Completely

Isnawa added that Jakarta BPBD deployed personnel to monitor inundation in each areas and cooperated with Water Resources, Bina Marga, and Fire Handling Agencies to handle the inundation together with local urban village and sub-district heads.

"We appeal to the resident to be aware with inundation. Please contact 112 for emergency situation. The service is free and operate 24 hours," he closed.

- West Jakarta by 5 RTs;

1. Rawa Buaya Urban Village

Total: 2 RTs

Level: 60-100 cm

Cause: Heavy rain and Angke River overflowing

2. Kembangan Utara Urban Village

Total: 1 RT

Level: 100 cm

Cause: Heavy rain

3. Kembangan Selatan

Total: 2 RTs

Level: 100 cm

Cause: Heavy rain

2. Sukabumi Selatan Urban Village: 1 RT

3. Cilandak Timur Urban Village: 2 RTs

4. Lebak Bulus Urban Village: 1 RT

6. Kebayoran Lama Utara Urban Village: 3 RTs

7. Kramat Pela Urban Village: 30 RTs
