East Jakarta Launches 76 Election Posts

The East Jakarta administration, launched 76 joint posts for the Election 2024, Tuesday (1/9). The inauguration was conducted simultaneously in five cities and Seribu Islands Regenxy

This is to optimize the handling of complaints regarding election issues

The activity in East Jakarta was led by East Jakarta administration Assistant, Eka Darmawan in a special meeting room on the Mayor Office on the 2nd floor of Block A Building.

According to him, those 76 posts were spread in 65 urban villages, 10 sub-districts, and in the mayor's office. It aimed at monitoring the process of the Election stages. The post itself operates every day from 8 AM to 8 PM.

"This is to optimize the handling of complaints regarding election issues," he expressed.

The post were guarded by joint personnel of Satpol PP, Resort Police, Kodim 0505, Bawaslu, KPU, FKUB, and representatives of political parties.

East Jakarta National Unity and Politics Agency (Kesbangpol) Head, Handoko Murhestriarso added the post was to help deal with problems in the community related to elections, regarding hoax news, election violations, fraud, black campaigns, and so forth.

"If there are problems in the area, they can be responded to quickly and answered thoroughly together," he concluded.
