273,531 South Jakarta Residents Registered in IKD

South Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Sub-agency has served 273,531 residents for activating Digital Population Identity (IKD) in 2023.

We remain accelerated the service

Sub-agency's head, Nur Rahman, said data migration into digital application has advantages such as gaining the use of population digitalization, simplify public services, and prevent falsification and data leakage.

6,784 Seribu Island Residents Have Applied IKD

"IKD is a completed application since it is equipped with features such as family data, document, electronic signing, service, service monitoring, and so on," he said, Thursday (1/11).

Not only IKD, he added, the sub-agency also has recorded 99.7 percent of electronic ID card  out of 1,793,287 people or has reached 1,788,000 people.

"We remain accelerated the service," he added.

In order to speed up the service, his side is not only opening the service at the office, but also in residential and schools.

"We also give door to door service for people with disabilities, sick and elderly people. There is also Kampung Sadar Adminduk or Kamsa program, he stated.

Meanwhile, Doni (26), one of local residents, appreciated the program much.

"IKD application eases us in population services," he said.
