It is targeted for completion next week

Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Yansori said the repair was carried out to follow up on residents' aspirations through the Musrenbang 2023.

He explained seven personnel were deployed to repair the channel as long as 82 meters, with a height and width of 100 centimeters

"Including one unit of excavator to lower the U-ditch measuring 80x100 centimeters," he explained.

Hopefully, it could smoothen the water flow and accommodate rainwater in large quantities in the rainy season, which aims to minimize inundation.

"We will also install manhole covers in order to endanger people passing by," he explained.

Aditya (34), a resident admitted that the repair was a must considering the water in the channel often overflowed on the roads when it rained.

"I appreciate the work which is quite fast, hopefully when it is finished it meets our expectations," he stated.
