West Jakarta to Construct Two Playing Fields in Schools

The West Jakarta administration will construct 2 playing fields in two schools this year. Those fields are comprising basketball in State Elementary School (SDN) 10 Kemanggisan and long-jump track in SDN 15 Slipi. 

There must be a petition first from the schools. Thus we could process it, whether the fields deserve to be renovated or constructed

Head of West Jakarta Sports and Youth Sub-Department, Sudarisman stated, besides two playing fields, his sub-department also had a plan to renovate one basketball field in State Junior High School (SMP) 105 Kembangan. It can be carried out after there is a petition from the schools side and continued by surveying the field.

"There must be a petition first from the schools. Thus we could process it, whether the fields deserve to be renovated or constructed," he stressed, Friday (4/3). 

South Jakarta to Renovate 25 School Buildings

To construct such fields, Rp 199, 924,177 was already prepared for basketball field and Rp 49,906,025 for long-jump track. Then for basketball field renovation amounted to Rp 99,845,882. 

"The fund has been included in 2015 budget. And it will be adjusted with the City Budget (APBD) approved by Jakarta Provincial Government," he disclosed.
