Central Jakarta Satpol PP Receives Electric Motorbikes

Satpol PP at the urban village and sub-district levels in Central Jakarta, received one electric motorbike to support regional monitoring operations, last Thursday (1/18).

We immediately distribute them to urban villages and one unit at the sub-district level

Tanah Abang Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Budy Salamun said his party received eight electric motorbikes which were immediately distributed to his personnel at the urban village and sub-district levels.

"After being taken from the city level, we immediately distribute them to urban villages and one unit at the sub-district level," he expressed, Friday (1/19).

Central Jakarta Residents Urged to Switch to Electric Motorbikes

The same statement also came out from Johar Baru Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Abdul Rahman Hakim who received five electric motorbikes where four were allocated to the urban village level and another one at the sub-district level.

Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village Satpol PP Head, Asep admitted the use of electric motorbikes would make the operations of his personnel more efficient in running regional monitoring, despite it requires getting used to operating it.

"Because it is different from conventional motorbikes, the feeling of riding is different and members need adjustments to get used to it," he stated.
