784 Campaign Props on Jalan Yos Sudarso Flyover Removed

As many as 784 campaign props installed on the Jalan Yos Sudarso Flyover, Kelapa Gading were removed by joint personnel from the North Jakarta administration, Bawaslu, KPU, and representative of political party last night, Friday (1/19).

Therefore, he urged political parties participating in the election to comply with KPU regulations which prohibit the installation of campaign props in places of worship, health services, educational places, and government-owned buildings. "To create public order, we'll intensify it," he stressed.
Violation Handling and Data and Information Division Coordinator, Muhamad Sobirin added the types of props removed were flags, banners, billboards, and the like. They were now collected at the office of North Jakarta Bawaslu.
"Our target is the left and right of the MOI Kelapa Gading Flyover, the total collected is 784 props," he explained.
Moreover, his party had carried out the same action three times during this campaign period.
"So, I call on election participants to be more orderly in installing props by paying attention to aesthetics, security, and the safety of other road users," he stressed.
