West Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-agency personnel extinguished fire which burning two barracks on Jalan Puri Indah, near Puri Indah Mall, Kembangan Selatan Urban Village, Kembangan Sub-district, Monday (1/22).

We deploy 11 fire fighter units with 55 personnel

Joko Susilo, sub-agency picket officer, said the fire occurred at 1.15 PM. The fire burned two semi-permanent barracks of a building project.

"We deploy 11 fire fighter units with 55 personnel. The fire was successfully be handled 30 minutes later," he said.

Kembangan Selatan Sub-district Urban Village Head, Pradana Putra, admitted the fire also burned eight motorcycles of the project workers.

"The fire is allegedly caused by short circuit from the second floor of the barrack. There is no victim in this incident," he stated.
