4,853 Polling Place Supervisors in North Jakarta Appointed

As many as 4,853 members of Polling Place Supervisors (PTPS) throughout North Jakarta have been inaugurated and provided with materials for proper and correct implementation of polling station supervision.

North Jakarta Elections Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) Chairman, Johan Bahdi said the inauguration would be held in each sub-district in North Jakarta from January 21 to 22, 2024.
In Cilincing Sub-district, as many as 1,134 PTPS were inaugurated; 1,089 in Tanjung Priok; 894 in Koja; 871 in Penjaringan; 462 in Pademangan; and 404 in Kelapa Gading.

He explained PTPS is the spearhead of Bawaslu in supervising the elections at the counting stage on February 14, 2024.

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Head, Ade Himawan explained his appreciation for the implementation of the inauguration and provision of PTPS members.
"My message to all officers is to work honestly, fairly, and with integrity. Do your duties well and trustfully, don't let any violations occur at the assignment TPS," he explained.
Tanjung Priok Sub-district Panwaslu Chairman, Riyanto Ameng added the supervisors appointed today were the result of strict screening two weeks ago.
"Hopefully, the February 14 election will run smoothly, safely, and without any significant obstacles. Those who are found violating will be subject to sanctions," he stressed.
As for the information, the number of Permanent Election Lists (DPT) in North Jakarta in the elections 2024 reached 1,345,136 people, with the number of male voters (667,144 people) and female voters (677,992 people).
