S. Jakarta will Add 3,2 Hectares of RTH

To realize the green and beautiful city, this year, South Jakarta Administration intends to add 3,2 hectares of green open space (RTH). It eventually will be built an interactive park.

"This year we will acquire a 3,2 hectares of land for interactive park. As there are parks that affected by Tendean-Ciledug flyover project," said Head of South Jakarta City Parks and Cemeteries Sub-Department, Suzi Marsitawati, Tuesday (4/7).
Marsitawati explained, at this time there are 500 parks recorded which its width up to 659 hectares. While for cemetery land there are 18 locations which its width 150 hectares.
Tegal Alur Cemetery will Be Equipped with Interactive ParkBesides, some land properties of South Jakarta Administration which is previously settled by street vendors, will be arranged become RTH.
"All the proposal have been proposed to City Parks Department, but it could not be realized yet as it is still waiting for City Budget disbursement," she expressed.
