Central Jakarta Mobile Library Service Visited by 137,654 Visitors

It is hoped the program will gain the reading interest

There were 137,654 people enjoying mobile library service provided by Central Jakarta Library and Archive Sub-agency.

Dispusip Adds 123,957 Copies to New Book Collection

Sub-agency Head, Irwan Septinadi, said his side deployed 10 cars and two motorcycles to serve the resident, especially children. The service was run every day from 9 AM to 2 PM.

"It is hoped the program will gain the reading interest for the sake of their life," he said, Thursday (1/25).

Central Jakarta Library and Archive's Library Section Head, Noor Muchyadi, stated the service has visited 100 locations in 2023 such as schools, institution, RPTRA, and residential.

"The service also served During Car Free Day," he added.

According to him, the service will remain be continued this year.

"We'll continue the program for the residents," he closed.
