Jakarta Health Agency Head, Ani Ruspitawati expressed the Cath Lab service was built through a network involving the community.
"We train ordinary people, thus if those around them encounter an emergency, including a cardiac event, they can give first aid. Then send it to a health facility that is capable of serving the heart," she explained.
She added people who want to be checked for all kinds of diseases under normal circumstances (not emergencies) can visit the health center, as it is completed with basic heart care services.
"But, if there is an emergency, such as a heart attack, we can immediately access the RSUD emergency unit," she stated.
