Seribu Islands RSUD Keeps Improving its Facilities and Infrastructure

The Seribu Islands Regional General Hospital (RSUD) on Pramuka Island, North Seribu Islands continues to make various efforts to provide excellent service to the community.

This year, we have added operational service facilities

By improving facilities and infrastructure, in 2023, Seribu Islands Hospital will receive four-star primary level accreditation from the previous initial level of one.

Seribu Islands RSUD Director Head, Agus Hariyanto Saroso said that improving health facilities was conducted as a form of commitment to providing and increasing access and equitable distribution of quality health services.

"This year, we have added operational service facilities. Island residents can enjoy planned cesarean section and general surgery services without having to go to mainland Jakarta," he expressed, Friday (12/22).

Apart from surgical service facilities, there was also a planned blood transfusion service. His party had updated medical equipment such as echocardiography tools, which are useful for examining heart patients.

Then Specialist Poly services were also available. Even, the doctor's schedule had been socialized. The doctors available in this clinic included pediatricians, internal medicine, surgery, radiology, clinical pathology, anesthesia, obstetrics, and gynecology and marine doctors.

"We have also optimized the function of the intensive care room. Next year, we will continue renovating or rehabilitating the building," he explained.

According to him, the construction planning would be executed in the rear area of the building which is an inpatient facility. It aimed to meet the minimum standards for the number and completeness of inpatient beds according to the Minister of Health Regulation.

Currently, the total inpatient capacity is 30 beds and it is hoped that with renovations next year it will be added to 50 beds.

"This renovation will be done in stages, thus hospital services can still run," he stated.
