PSN Monitoring and Education Intensified in Tegal Alur

The Tegal Alur Urban Village, Kalideres Sub-district keeps emphasizing the importance of monitoring and education on Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN). One of them is through the Gerebek PSN raid which was held at RT 11/02, Friday (1/26).

Tegal Alur Urban Village Head, Dwi Kurniasih said the Gerebel PSN raid in RT 11/02 was participated by 35 joint personnel from Satpol PP, urban village ASN, Jumantik cadres, PKK cadres, Dasawisma, RT/RW, and PPSU.

“We're targeting densely populated areas that are prone to the presence of Aedes Aegypti mosquito nests," she expressed.

Beware of Dengue Fever During Extreme Weather!

He went on to say that his party found mosquito larvae in residents' yards, such as in buckets, gallons, and flower pots which were immediately destroyed by officers.

"We also educate residents about Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF). With routine monitoring and education, hopefully, dengue fever cases can be reduced," she uttered.

Mursan Muhadi (61), a local resident welcomed the Gerebek PSN raid in his neighborhood. He hoped that it could reduce dengue cases.

"This is very beneficial for the health of residents too," he stated.
