Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono attended the cheap staple food program at Cakung Sub-district Office, East Jakarta. As many as 500 packages were sold there.
"Residents are enthusiast to attend the program here. We also try to make sure the staple food stock remains safe. It is hoped the program will ease residents in getting cheaper staple food," he said, Wednesday (1/31).

Today's program is held by Jakarta Provincial Government cooperating with PT Suri Nusantara Jaya. Heru appreciated the private's involvement in the program.
"I appreciate for all sides involved in the program," he added, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's Press Release.
East Jakarta Mayor, M Anwar, also appealed entrepreneur in East Jakarta to participate in such program.
"We hope the synergy with private can be strengthened to maintain the program keeps running. Here, the package is sold Rp 100,000. While in the market is Rp 140,000. Other locations will be held soon," he stated.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Fishery Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati, admitted the program is always held in urban village or sub-district offices in order to ease resident's access.
"We need location that is able to provide tent for residents queuing the package during rain. Today's package is provided by private fully. Previously we brought only 300 packages in Makasar Sub-district. Now we brought 500 packages," she admitted.
