Joint Personnel Clean Mud at RW 07 Kalibaru

As many as 100 joint personnel of urban village, Water Resources Sub-agency, UPK Badan Air and Kalibaru Urban Village PPSU, Cilincing Sub-district, North Jakarta cleaned mud at Gang Sate, RT 10/07.

Kalibaru Urban Village Head, Rusmin said the communal work was aimed to make sure Bakor River flows smoothly and to prevent inundation. Moreover, the river passes six RTs in RW 07, Kalibaru Urban Village.

"We cleaned the area from Dewa Ruci Pump up to PT Ronauli Trasindo Container depo, or about 1,000 meters," he said, Friday (2/2).

There were six trucks and one pickup car deployed during the activity.

"We also plan to heighten river's plaster to avoid the water inundated the residential," he added.

According to him, plaster construction will be run in four stages. First is starting from Gang Sate in RT 10 up to PT Ronauli Trasindo Container Depo. Second is near the depo in RT 05, 03 and RT 15. Next is residential at RT 03 up to RT 01. Four is RT 01 up to RW 06, 07 and RW 15.

Meanwhile, RW 07 Head, Kalibaru Urban Village, Caharudin, admitted his side is supporting the cleaning and plastering project.

"Residential here was often inundated by the river's water," he closed.
