Parekraf Agency Holds Fun Walk with Abang None at Car Free Day

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Parekraf) held fun walk with Abang None (Abnon) at Car Free Day on Jalan Sudirman-Thamrin, Sunday (2/4).

to exercise and contribute to reduce air pollution

The event was enlivened by 40 active and alumnus of Jakarta Abang None.

Agency's Sub-Coordinator of Attraction and Partnership Head, Anita Novianti, the event was held as part of coaching program and making Abang None Jakarta a representative figure for Jakarta's young generation.

"Not only do sport, this event is also as Jakarta Abang None empowerment. We invite them as young generation's representative," she said.

The event was also aimed to invite community to exercise and contribute to reduce air pollution by using public transport.

"We can contribute to reduce air pollution by using public transport to go to car free day location," she added.

The 2023 Jakarta Abang, Rama, explained the event also became a place for creativity and an invitation for people to exercise while traveling urban.

"Jakarta as a metropolitan city has a lot of tourism. One of the tourism sectors is urban tourism. People can enjoy the city of Jakarta with beautiful sidewalks and parks nowadays, supported by good facilities and infrastructure," he explained.

Rama added that apart from encouraging people about the importance of exercising and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, this activity also builds awareness of the 2024 Abang None Jakarta election.

"Car free day is a government's effort in reducing air pollution. We also reminded society that Abang None is also contributing in reducing air pollution through fun walk," he closed.
