Heru Monitors Removal of Campaign Props on Jalan Gatot Subroto

Jakarta Acting Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, participated in monitoring the removal of campaign props or attributes (APK) on Jalan Gatot Subroto, South Jakarta, early Sunday (2/11). It was done in connection with the start of the election quiet period from February 11 to 13, 2024.

He also urged all parties to make the elections a success. "Let's hold a conducive democratic party," he expressed.

Tebet Sub-district Head, Dyan Airlangga said the campaign prop removal on Jalan Gatot Subroto had been done from early morning until this morning.

Of 904 props removed from Jalan Gatot Subroto to Jalan MT Haryono, 163 were banners, 737 flags, and four billboards.

"The same action is also conducted on Jalan Tebet Barat, Jalan Tebet Timur, Jalan Asem Baris, Jalan Bukit Duri, etc," he stated.

His party involved 980 joint personnel on non-protocol roads across seven urban villages. "All removed props are collected in the sub-district office yard," he said.

Tebet Sub-district Secretary, Rudy Cahyadi added the total number of props that had been removed from early morning to this morning on some protocol roads was 9,036.

All were removed from three locations. That was on Jalan Gatot Subroto to Jalan MT. Haryono, Jalan DR Soepomo to Jalan Saharjo and Jalan Abdullah Syafei to Jalan Casablanca.

On Jalan Gatot Subroto to Jalan MT Haryono, 904 props were removed from Jalan Gatot Subroto to Jalan MT Haryono. While 4,558 props were removed from Jalan DR Soepomo to Jalan Saharjo, consisting of 858 banners, 3,407 flags, and 293 billboards.

Then 3,874 props were from Jalan Abdullah Syafei to Jalan Casablanca, consisting of 1,103 banners, 2,550 flags, and 221 billboards.

"In total, as many as 9,036 props have been removed from some protocol roads today," he concluded.
