759 Campaign Props in Ciracas Controlled

As many as 759 campaign props installed in forbidden area in Ciracas Sub-district area, East Jakarta, Wednesday (1/24), were controlled by joint personnel from urban village, sub-district, Bawaslu, KPU and political party representative.

The controlling was aimed to give comfort and safety for road user

Ciracas Election Monitoring Chief, Nana Suganda, said those joint personnel controlled campaign props installed on pedestrian bridge and flyover. It is because the props existence disturb and endanger road user.

"The controlling was aimed to give comfort and safety for road user," he said, Thursday (1/25).

The controlled campaign props are stored at Satpol PP Ciracas Office. His side will give the props if the political parties are still need it.

"We appeal the props to be installed in safe area," he added.

Ciracas Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Sondang Sipayung, stated those 759 campaign props were banner, billboard, and flag.

The props were controlled in five different locations such as Kampung Rambutan Terminal Pedestrian Bridge, Pedestrian Bridge on Jalan Supriyadi (near Lotte Mart), Pedestrian Bridge on Jalan Raya Bogor (in front of Harapan Bunda Hospital), Induk Kramat Jati Market Pedestrian Bridge, and Pasar Rebo Flyover.

"We ask resident to report if there are still campaign props installed in forbidden area," he closed.

Meanwhile, Susukan Urban Village Head, Andri Priwitama Maila, hoped there will be no more campaign props installed on Pasar Rebo flyover. It can endanger road user since the traffic is quite dense.

"The controlling was responding the province's direction that pedestrian bridge and flyover must be free from campaign props," she closed.
