Pothole on Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim will Be Repaired

Citizens of Kebon Kacang Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, repaired pothole on Jalan KH Wahid Hasyim, Kebon Kacang, Central Jakarta, Friday morning (4/10) as the pothole potentially can harm the road users. 

We will send a letter to Bina Marga Department as it's their authority and the cement fillings will be replaced by asphalt and the pothole will be repaired  soon tonight

Based on Beritajakarta.com observations, 1 meter pothole with a width of 30 centimeters is precisely on the middle road from Sarinah towards to Block A Tanah Abang Market. The citizens covered the pothole manually using a mixture of sand and cement. They also installed the sign thus the road users know. 

Andi (35), one of the citizens stated the pothole has existed since a month ago and it has been reported to related party to repair it. 

Beware of Potholes Along Jalan Panjang!

"The pothole has existed since a month ago and last night there was a rider fell because of it. So it is installed the sign and citizens just fixed it this morning," he stated, Friday (4/10). 

Head of Road Maintenance Section for Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department, Ifanudin claimed, his side has known about the pothole. His side will repair it immediately and replace the cement fillings with asphalt. 

"We will send a letter to Bina Marga Department as it's their authority and the cement fillings will be replaced by asphalt and the pothole will be repaired  soon tonight," he asserted.
