226 Damaged Roads Repaired

Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department have repaired as many as 226 damaged roads in Central Jakarta throughout Februari-March 2015 as the accident anticipation.

Jalan Muis that had been sinkhole a couple times ago is already repaired

Those repaired roads are on Jalan Gunung Sahari Raya, Jalan Industri, Jalan KH Hasyim Ashari, Jalan Kramat Raya, Jalan Salemba Raya, Jalan Karet Timur Pasar Baru, Jalan Letjend Suprapto, Jalan Lapangan Banteng Utara and Jalan Abdul Muis.

"Jalan Muis that had been sinkhole a couple times ago is already repaired," said Head of Central Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-Department, Pamudji, Thursday (3/12).

173 Roads Damage in C. Jakarta Improved

Padmudji stated, high intesity rain and puddles made the roads easily damage. Even, some of roads that have been repaired were broken again because of water eroded.

"The reparation is done step by step, in order not to disturb the traffic, we keep using hotmix as it could dry faster," he stated.

Currently, he continued, the reparation is using preceding budget.

"The officers should repair the roads faster due to erratic rainfall yet we're still focusing to repair all the potholes," he disclosed.
