South Jakarta Satpol PP Secure Ballot after Election Day

South Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Nanto Dwi Subekti, admitted the escort was started from polling station up to logistics warehouse.

"It is important to make sure there is no fraud," he said, Thursday (2/15).

According to him, three Satpol PP personnel were deployed for one urban village, and five personnel for sub-district.

"There were 195 personnel for urban village level and 50 personnel for sub-district level. We also deployed one electric motorcycle for each sub-districts and urban villages," he added.

Previously in quiet period, South Jakarta Satpol PP already controlled campaign props in several areas.

"There were 101,506 campaign props controlled in 10 sub-districts. Now the protocol, non protocol, and residential roads are free from campaign props," he explained.

Nanto stated that the controlled campaign props were already taken to warehouse in urban village, sub-district, and city level.

One of Cipete Selatan residents, Diki (26), appreciated the South Jakarta Satpol PP.

"Thanks for escorting the election up to today," he stated.
