Empty Land in Pisangan Baru Selatan will Be Transformed into a Park

The empty land as long as 20 meters and as wide as 1.5 meters on Jalan Pisangan Baru Selatan, RT 01/08 Pisangan Baru, Matraman, East Jakarta, will soon be transformed into a park.

This location will be used as a superior area arrangement in the second quarter

Matraman Sub-district Vice Head, Muhammad Husnul Fauzi said this location would be a superior area arrangement for the second quarter of 2024 for the Pisangan Baru Urban Village area. It was being made in stages starting today by clearing out two illegal huts used as motorbike taxi bases and coffee sales places.

Prior to the arrangement, he explained, RT/RW administrators, LMK, and owners of illegal buildings were invited to attend a joint meeting to find a solution at the sub-district office. After it was agreed, demolishment would be executed.

"This location will be used as a superior area arrangement in the second quarter," he expressed.

Pisangan Baru Urban Village Secretary, Muhammad Noor added as many as 25 joint personnel from Satpol PP, PPSU, sub-district, urban village, RT/RW caretakers, LMK, and FKDM would be deployed to demolish the buildings.

"We'll immediately clean up all the debris within this week, which aims to smoothen arrangements," he stressed.
