Candidate Occupant of Rusunawa Fooled Million Rupiahs

Juariah (50) a citizen of RT 03/13, Lagoa Urban Village, Koja Sub-District, North Jakarta was experiencing an unfortunate event. she intended to stay in Rusunawa Marunda but she was fooled by a pander up to million rupiahs.

The case started when she was visiting the Rusunawa Marunda with her partner to look for a rental flat on November 2014 ago. When she arrived there, she met with an acquaintance and showed with an occupants of cluster B Block 11 5th floor who was claimed use to take care of flat ownerships.

After meeting with him, she and her partner were promised by a person initialed R(35) could getting a unit of flat as long as she deposit money amounted to Rp 6 million. Then she deposited down payment Rp 1,5 million, and for the rest she paid on March 2015 ago. Afterwards, she and her husband was given a key plus a leasing agreement letter(SP) of the flat in 4th floor block 4 cluster A.

On Sunday (3/15) night, she and her husband, Lisdiantoro along with their 4 children came to the flat to move in. But when she came to report to the local RT/RW she got rejected due to the discrepancy between the SP which is in the name of Afliana Serawati Mesakih (31) with her ID Card.

"I don't understand how the procedure actually is, so i just believe when there is some want to help. In fact, when there is a problem, the deposited money could not get back," complained Juariah, Monday (4/13).

Meanwhile, Head of Jakarta Regional 1 Rusunawa Unit Management (UPRS), Marwiyanti deplored the citizens who want to stay in the flat yet they are unregistered in official way. Because, she cannot do anything like what happened to Juariah. 

"If there are our staff, freelance staff, or civil servants involved then we will raid them. For those who want to have a flat then they can go to Jatibaru (Jakarta Building and Residential Department)," she asserted. 

Marwiyanti claimed, at this time the priority of flat occupant is given to relocation programmed citizens. While the citizens who have been registered and being in waiting list is about 800 registers.
