Fadjar Panjaitan's Funeral Procession Runs Solemnly

We miss him greatly

The funeral procession for former City Secretary, Fadjar Panjaitan at Tanah Kusir TPU, Block AA I, Blad 38, Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta, ran solemnly.

Based on beritajakarta.id observations, the funeral was accompanied by a scouting ceremony led by Maj. Gen. TNI (Ret.), Bachtiar Utomo as Secretary General of the National Quarter (Kwarnas) Scout Movement.

At the end of his life, he served as Chairman of the Jakarta Scout Kwarda for the 2019-2024 Service Period.

It was also attended by the former Jakarta Governor for the 2007-2012 period, Fauzi Bowo, South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin who also accompanied the late.

National Quarter (Kwarnas) Scout Movement Secretary General, Maj. Gen. TNI (Ret.), Bachtiar Utomo said the extended family of the Scout movement felt a great loss for the late. During his lifetime, he was known as a very humanist, wise, patient, protective, and steadfast person who held strong principles.

"We miss him greatly. Moreover, he often helped the progress of the Scout movement. The figure of the deceased was very important for the development and progress of the Scout movement in Jakarta," he expressed, Thursday (2/22).

He added he was also known to pay more attention to the Jakarta Scouts. It could be seen from the 40 percent of funds obtained by Kwarda being allocated to Kwarcab and Kwarran every year.

"Hopefully, his kindness and dedication during this time can provide abundant rewards for him," he added.

Fany Panjaitan, one of Fadjar Panjaitan's family, expressed her gratitude to all levels of the Jakarta Provincial Government, the entire Scout movement, and elements of society who accompanied the deceased, from his release to his final resting place.

"As a family, we just say thank you and ask everyone for prayers, thus he will be given the best place by God's side," she stated.
