Rawa Bengkel River Needs Dredging

The Rawa Bengkel River which located in Cengkareng Barat Urban Village, Cengkareng, West Jakarta, is experiencing silting. The precipitated mud in the river makes the water does not flow. Even, there are so much waste snagged. 

There are janitors to clean the waste from the river every day. But for dredging, we don't have the budget

Cengkareng Sub-District Head, Ali Maulana uttered, the silting river becomes one of the problem that complained by the citizens. However, at this time, his party cannot drain the river yet due to hampered by the budget. Nevertheless, his party keeps cleaning the wastes. 

"There are janitors to clean the waste from the river every day. But for dredging, we don't have the budget." he said, Tuesday (4/14).

Meanwhile, Head of West Jakarta Water Management Sub-Department stated this year, the dredging budget by Rp 250 million will be handed over to each sub-district. "It would be prioritized in the silting rivers," he dis closed.
