"At this moment, the land is used as illegal garbage site. We propose the retention basin construction to handle inundation," he said.

According to him, the East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agency has conducted survey. Meanwhile, there are three main programs proposed in the Musrenbang.

First is retention basin construction, water channel improvement and water channel crossing construction on Jalan Penganten Ali in front of LRT. Then Ciracas connecting channel normalization along 950 meters at RW 09, 02, and RW 10.

East Jakarta Governmental Assistant, Eka Darmawan, said his party prioritizes the handling of floods or inundation, handling stunting and improving the economy of residents. Therefore, the role of the community is very important in development proposals in their area.

"RW heads must monitor the stages of the proposals. It is hoped those three programs can be realized," he said.

Moreover, Jakarta City Council's E Commission member, Muhammad Thamrin, admitted that development is started from residents' request, then filtered by RW caretaker.

According to him, this year Musrenbang is better than before. Each RWs only proposes three priority proposals.
