The award was given during National Food and Nutrition Vulnerability Coordination Meeting held by Bapanas at The Margo Hotel Depok, Tuesday (2/27).

Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati, admitted this achievement is the result of cooperation of Jakarta Provincial Government, Central Government, related ministries, related regional units and so on.

"Jakarta Provincial Government commits in handling food and nutrition vulnerability and enhance food tenacity in Jakarta," she said, Wednesday (2/28).

Previously, Jakarta Provincial Government through Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Agency also received appreciation from Bapanas in form of Consumption Variation and Food Security 2023.

The agency becomes best related regional unit to run the food safety monitoring together with Central Java and Lampung.

She hopes this appreciation motivates the collaboration, synergy and communication in building a fresh food safety system throughout Indonesia. Also becomes the main force in efforts to advance food security in Jakarta, including providing consumer protection and ensuring fair trade in the community.

"This appreciation becomes joint achievement to guard commitment of handling food and nutrition vulnerability," she stated.
