Duri Pulo Residents Flock Cheap Staple Food Market

The residents of Duri Pulo Urban Village, Gambir Sub-district, Central Jakarta were enthusiast to attend cheap staple food program initiated by Jakarta Provincial Government at RPTRA Melati, Wednesday (2/28).

Diana (47), resident of RT 02/01, Duri Pulo Urban Village thanked to Jakarta Provincial Government for holding the market.

"It surely helps us since the price is lower compared to the usual market," she said, Wednesday (2/28).

Jakarta Provincial Government Makes Sure Cheap Market Fulfills Resident Needs

She hopes similar program will remain to be held to assist the Jakarta residents.

Rosdiana Radiman (58), resident of RT 04/12, Duri Pulo Urban Village, admitted happy with the program. He can buy chrap staple food there.

"Thanks to Jakarta Provincial Government for providing this program for us," he admitted.

Meanwhile, Acting Duri Pulo Urban Village Head, Difta Dwipakusumah, explained the residents' enthusiasm was high during the program implementation.

"Totally 1,000 coupons distributed to the residents to buy the packages in the program. The package is sold Rp 100,000," she explained.
