Jakarta Wins Best Domestic Product User Award Twice in a Row

The Jakarta Provincial Government has once again made a proud achievement by winning the award as Best User of Domestic Products in the Provincial Government Category 2024.
It's a form of government support for products made by domestic industry
Last year, the Jakarta government also received the same award for spending on domestic products in 2022. In other words, Jakarta has been named the Best Province Using Domestic Products twice in a row.
The award was handed over directly by Industry Minister, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita as Daily Chair of the National Team for Increasing the Use of Domestic Products (P3DN National Team) in the 2024 Domestic Product Shopping Business Matching series of events.

She explained the Jakarta Government had spent domestic products worth Rp 25.58 trillion or 161.44 percent of the commitment to spend on domestic products by Rp 15.84 trillion during 2023.
"The Jakarta Government has been implementing the Program to Increase the Use of Domestic Products since 2017 and continues to be imposed to this day. It's a form of government support for products made by domestic industry," she expressed, Thursday (3/7).
For the achievement of domestic product spending, the Jakarta Government also received several awards in 2023, namely, Rank 1st in Largest E-Purchasing Transaction Value for Fiscal Year 2023 for the January - July 2023 Period from LKPP and Regional Government with Domestic Product Shopping Transaction Value Largest Micro and Small Business Countries and Products in 2023 from LKPP.
She added the Jakarta Government had committed to spending 80 percent of the goods/services procurement budget to use domestic products this year.
"By the slogan 'Jakarta's Success for Indonesia', hopefully, the steps taken by the Jakarta Government can further empower domestic industry and encourage national economic growth," she hoped.
