Perumda Dharma Jaya Director, Raditya Endra Budiman, said his party is working with entrepreneurs who are members of meat associations to maintain price stability and meat availability.

"The meeting discussed about meat stocks during fasting month up to Eid ul Fitr. The meat importers association, meat distributors association and meat industry association were also present. The associations ensure that meat stocks in the month of Ramadan are still available and safe," he said, Thursday (3/7).
Raditya added that the meat stock owned by Perumda Dharma Jaya is still able to meet the meat needs of Jakarta residents, plus there is still a stock of imported meat originating from import permits in 2023.
According to him, Acting Jakarta Governor, Heru Budi Hartono, requested Perumda Dharma Jaya to increase meat stock three times bigger during fasting month and Eid ul Fitr. It is predicted that meat demand will increase up to 25 percent.
An increase in demand for chicken and beef has been seen. Meat outlets in five Transmart locations have requested additional meat supplies and Dharma Jaya has agreed to fulfill this request.
His side has added the stock up to 1,000 tons. In fact, meat stock for Kartu Jakarta Pintar (KJP) recipients by 400-500 tons are also ready if bazaar needs to be held.
"That is why the residents should not to do panic buying since the stock is remain safe," he added.
Meanwhile, Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Agency Head, Suharini Eliawati explained Perumda Dharma Jaya is invited to participate in bazaar program held in 44 sub-districts in Jakarta as one of efforts to make sure meat stock, as well as staple food, is safe.
"Perumda Dharma has been involved since February 15, 2024," she said.
She added that Perumda Dharma Jaya has been participating in several bazaar programs by preparing 200 trays of egg, 500 kilograms of beef, 100 kilograms of slice meat, and so on.
