Through this construction, the traders and fishermen's welfare can be improved well in future,” he uttered.
The former Mayor of Blitar hoped the regional working unit known as SKPD to always synergy each other to develop infrastructures such as roads, park, ice factory, and larger parking lot in order to support the traders and fishermen activities. Local people are also urged to maintain the market well.
“I'm supporting if the flat for fisherman to be added. But its construction must be adjusted with their culture, that is by providing a land to repair the road,” he explained.
Besides that, a sea food center would also be built to attract more people in future.
Head of Jakarta Marine, Agriculture and Food Security, Darjamuni revealed the Muara Angke Fish Market is able to be an ideal integrated area where it will be realized gradually. "We already have a masterplan. Gradually, we will do the arrangement, like this fish market," he disclosed.
Such fish market has a width of 9,800 square meters and can accommodate 1,354 kiosks. Before being inaugurated, there were only three fish markets, such as the wholesale market on the north side as wide as 5,000 square meters, the wholesale market on the west side and the retailer wholesale market as wide as 5,150 square meters. In overall, the Muara Angke fish area has a width of 64 hectares and several facilities such as fish market, tender, port, fisherman flat, mangrove forest and fish processing center.
“As many as 640 traders from such markets were already relocated to the market,” he disclosed.
