90 Security Posts Built in Cakung as Brawl Anticipation

In order to prevent brawl, as many as 98 security posts are built in Cakung Sub-District, East Jakarta. Those posts are in 90 RWs which spread 7 urban villages.

They (posts) are built in brawl-prone areas and on the roadside. If the brawl happens, the officers will immediately control it

The 98 security posts are in RW 01 Kampung Jembatan (Penggilingan Urban Village), RW 03 East Flood Canal (KBT) (Ujung Menteng Urban Village), RW 08 exactly on Jalan Soemarno (Pulogadung Urban Village), RW 06 (Rawa Terate Urban Village), RW 08 (Cakung Barat Urban Village), as well as under Buaran flyover or on the edge of railway (Jatinegara Urban Village).

“They (posts) are built in brawl-prone areas and on the roadside. If the brawl happens, the officers will immediately control it,” said Cakung Sub-District Head, Ali Murtadho, Friday (4/17).

In addition, the posts that guarded by personnel of Satpol PP, Army/Police, Social Sub-Department, Mass Organization and police public order (Kamtibmas) will be operated every Saturday night, at 11 PM-6 AM. “The posts only operate on Saturday night due to brawl often happen in that day,” he disclosed.
