The Central Jakarta Administration, Monday (3/25), started the first area arrangement semester monitoring. The first monitoring was conducted in Cempaka Putih and Johar Baru Sub-districts.

Central Jakarta Administration's City Development and Environment Division Head, Martua Sitorus, said the monitoring was aimed to directly check the real condition. The arrangement will be run fully in all sub-districts in Central Jakarta.

According him, the arrangement is aimed to improve urban village environment quality. Technically, the arrangement includes illegal parking, street vendor, greening, cleanliness, channel improvement, and beauty of the area.
"It is hoped urban village side will remain active in arranging the area. As well as inviting residents to maintain it," he added.
Cempaka Putih Barat Urban Village Head, Annisa Titi Sunda, explained the first arrangement of her area targeted empty land and slum area at RT 05/12 since February ago.
"Now the progress reaches 90 percent. It is targeted to complete next week," she stated.
