Prime Land Arrangement in Kalisari Completed

The prime area arrangement located on Jalan Kalisari Raya, RT 06/02, Kalisari Urban Village, Pasar Rebo, East Jakarta, which has been in the works since last January, completed on Friday (3/22).

Residents want this area to look nice and beautiful

Kalisari Urban Village Head, Siti Nurhasanah stated a park with a cliff concept was built on the 33-square-meter wide land, precisely in the "Gentong" T-junction area. Initially, this land was a slum area that was used as a place for illegal waste disposal site.

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), now residents can use this park for environmental beauty and taking selfies. However, we urge them to help care for and look after it," she said, Monday (3/25).

Area Arrangement on Jalan Mangga Besar II Reaches 90 Percent

According to him, its location was used as a prime area arrangement as it was a connecting access between the Kalisari area and Depok, West Java and access to the Cijantung Kopassus Housing Complex.

"Residents want this area to look nice and beautiful," she concluded.

Kalisari Urban Village Economy and Development Section Head, Evy Widyasanti added the arrangement involved 20 personnel of PPSU, RT/RW caretakers, LMK, and locals.

As a matter of fact, there were only ten personnel, as ten others were returned to work in their respective zones.

"This park is 100 percent complete. Besides the mountain concept, it is also decorated with many types of plants and three canisters for sorting trash," he explained.

Several ornamental plants that have been planted in the field included Lili Paris, Philo Kuning, Red Spinach, Ghandarusa Merah, and other types.
