The Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency, finally completed the 243-meter-long channel draining work on Jalan Petojo VIJ II Dalam, RT 14/06, Cideng Urban Village, Gambir, Friday (3/29).
The mud thickness in the channel is around 15 centimeters

"If heavy rain occurs for a long time, the channels are prone to overflowing and causing flooding in residential areas," he said, Monday (4/1).
Dirty Channel on Jalan Bina Marga Drained from MudHe explained the work that has ongoing since March 17 involved 12 personnel.
"The mud thickness in the channel is around 15 centimeters," he explained.
The draining action received appreciation from one of the residents from RW 06, Cideng Urban Village.
"This is a must, considering the channel is small enough. That's why don't get it full of mud," he stated.
