Central Jakarta Administration Monitors Food at Sumur Batu Market

Central Jakarta Administration, Monday (4/1), monitored food tenacity and stability ahead of Eid ul Fitr at Sumur Batu Market, Kemayoran and Foodmart Fresh Atrium Senen Market, Senen.

Several commodities' stock are safe

Central Jakarta Vice Mayor, Chaidir, said his side monitored several commodities such as rice, chicken, chili, onion, meat, and egg.

"Several commodities' stock are safe," he said.

Based on the monitoring, he added, several commodities price are escalating especially goods related with Eid ul Fitr.

Different with Sumur Batu Market, he added, his side checked the condition and validity period of the food products at Foodmart Fresh Atrium Senen.

"We did not find expired food product there," he added.

Meanwhile, Central Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency, Penty Yunesi, explained several commodities price at traditional market was vary.

Significant increase is ginger from Rp 40,000 to Rp 80,000 per kilogram.

"Rice price is stable. There is a slight increase in shallots and tomatoes," she stated.
