South Jakarta Administration held food supervision ahead of Lebaran at Santa Market, Jalan Cipaku 1, Petogogan Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

South Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant, Mukhlisin, said the supervision was held to make sure products sold at the market are safe.
Takjil Supervision Held in Johar Baru"We took food samples such as tofu, noodle, and up to fish products," he said, Monday (4/1).
He explained that the samples took by Jakarta Drug and Food Supervision Agency (BBPOM) were directly tested at laboratory.
"Based on the examination result, some of samples contained formalin and rhodamine B," he explained.
According to him, persuasive warning was directly given to sellers who sold products contained hazardous substance.
"Advance investigation for food producers will be held too," he said.
Not only supervising food products, his side also monitored food stock and price.
"Several commodities such as rice, chicken, and meat are relatively stable," he added.
Meanwhile, Jakarta BBPOM Head, Sofiyani Chandrawati Anwar, explained her side took 20 food samples.
"There were five samples contained hazardous substance such as formalin
and rhodamine B. It has negative impact for our health," she explained.She asks Perumda Pasar Jaya and related sub-agency to intensively hold socialization and education for traders.
"It's our responsibility to provide healthy community," she concluded.
