Ramadan, 33 PPKS in Central Jakarta Netted

Some 33 people with social welfare issues (PPKS) were caught in the operation held by Satpol PP and Central Jakarta Social Sub-agency together with the TNI in eight sub-district areas, last Tuesday (4/2).

As a result, 33 PPKS were reached and handed over to the social houses

Central Jakarta Satpol PP's Investigation of Civil Servants (PPNS) and Operational Section Head, Ildan Adi Bayu stated the PPKS operation was held from March 22 to April 2, 2024.

"As a result, 33 PPKS were reached and handed over to the social houses," he stated, Wednesday (4/3).

This operation involved 115 joint personnel, consisting of 90 personnel of Satpol PP, 20 personnel of Jakarta Social Agency, and five members of TNI.

Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, TP Purba uttered he instructed his personnel to run their duties humanistically considering the aim of this action was to provide guidance.

"I remind you not to chase targets and take care of yourself. Treat them humanely, firmly, and without violence," he stated.
