January-July 2023, 1,001 PPKS in West Jakarta Netted

The West Jakarta Social Sub-agency has noted that as many as 1,001 people with social welfare issues (PPKS) have been netted from January to July 2023.

The most we reached are homeless with 306 people

West Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Suprapto said the 1,001 PPKS netted were homeless people, beggars, scavengers, street children, charity box dealers, etc.

"The most we reached are homeless with 306 people," he expressed, Saturday (8/12).

Satpol PP Reaches 4,035 PPKS During January - August 2023

In details, 108 PPKS were netted in January, 225 were in February, 198 were March, 89 were in April, 139 were in May, 96 were in June, and 146 were in July.

Most of them were netted from vulnerable locations such as Kota Tua area, Jalan Pangeran Tubagus Angke, Jalan Kyai Tapa, Jalan Letjen S Parman, Tomang, Cengkareng Red Light, and Grogol.

"We will then hand them over to the Bina Insan Bangun Daya 1 Social Institution in Kembangan Selatan to receive guidance," he stated.
