South Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency Head, Hasudungan A Sidabalok, said vaccination given to 18 cats, two dogs, and one weasel.

"This free program is held to maintain Jakarta as free rabies city since 2004," he said Wednesday (4/17).

He added that animals that can be vaccinated against rabies must meet the criteria of not being pregnant, not sick, and old enough.

"This year, our target is to give vaccine for 10,500 pets at 10 sub-districts. Hopefully this program is able to prevent rabies to the pets," he added.

Meanwhile, one of pets owner, Harti Mariati (46), admitted happy with the program.

"I brought my cats here to get anti rabies vaccination," she admitted.
