The Central Jakarta Water Resources Sub-agsncy (SDA) is draining the water channel on Jalan Letjend Suprapto, RW 10, Bungur Urban Village, Senen. It is targeted to be completed by mid-May.

Senen Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Zulfahmi Baco explained the draining has been ongoing since mid-March, which aims to minimize flooding.
"The progress work has touched 40 percent," he said, Saturday (4/20).
Kebon Sayur Water Channel DredgedHe explained the channel has 80 centimeters wide, 90 centimeters high, and 300 meters long.
"We send 14 personnel to drain the channel manually. They have managed to collect 25 cubic meters of garbage," he explained.
The work received appreciation from one of the residents from RW 10, Bungur Urban Village, Rudi (30).
"Indeed, the location is often flooded when it rains. Hopefully, it can be minimized after this work is done," he hoped.
