Channel Repairs on Jalan Setiabudi III Completed

The Setiabudi Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit, South Jakarta, completed repairs to the water channel on Jalan Setiabudi III, RT 02/03, Setiabudi Urban Village.

Setiabudi Sub-district SDA Coordination, Hendra said the repair is conducted to follow up on residents' aspirations through the Musrenbang 2023.

"The channel was previously small and had many tree roots which caused the water flow to be unstable and often overflow onto the neighborhood roads," he expressed, Thursday (4/25).

Damaged Residential Road in Kalisari Repaired

He explained repairs included installing a U-ditch and also covering 600 meters of channel plates on two sides of the road.

"The channel high with U-ditch reaches 90 centimeters and 50 centimeters wide," he explained.

According to him, it has been ongoing sine January 2024 and was completed yesterday.

"Its repair involved 12 personnel of PPSU and one unit of heavy equipment from Setiabudi Sub-district," he explained.

He hoped that it could minimize flooding whent it rained with heavy intensity.

"I urge residents to help keep the water channels clean," he added.

The work received appreciation from one of residents, Yahya (49).

"Alhamdulillah (Thank God), it's finished and neat. Thank you for all who have helped," he stated.
