C. Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency Targets to Get 200 Abnon Candidates

As many as 200 participants are targeted to register Abang-None (Abnon) Central Jakarta 2024, which is opened from May 1 to 31, 2024.

Central Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Wiwik Satriani, said her side conduct several promotion through social media and roadshow since May 1 to 27.

"We carry out promotions through various social media channels and roadshows," she said, Tuesday (5/7).

She added that after the registration stage is complete, stage I selection will be carried out on June 1 face to face at the Wahyu Sihombing Theater, Taman Ismail Marzuki (TIM).

Furthermore, on June 2, phase II selection was carried out to screen 30 Abnon candidates. This phase II selection will be held in the Multipurpose Room of the Central Jakarta Mayor's Office.

Then, the 30 participants selected as Abnon candidates will undertake a series of training before the final night on July 17.

"Final night of Central Jakarta Abnon will be held at BRIN Jakarta Building," she added.

Central Jakarta Parekraf Sub-agency's Marketing and Attraction Section Head, Endang Suryanti, explained registration requirements for Central Jakarta Abang None candidates include being 18 to 25 years old, having a Jakarta KTP, having a minimum of SMA/SMK/equivalent education, never been married and being physically and mentally healthy.

"Then there is a minimum height requirement for Abang candidates of 170 centimeters and a minimum of 165 centimeters for None," she explained.
