Seribu Islands Abnon Finalists Show Their Skills in Gathering Night

Ahead of the final night on Friday (7/14), around 15 pairs of Seribu Islands Abang None (Abnon) finalists will take part in a gathering night at One Satrio CBD Kuningan, South Jakarta, Sunday (6/25) evening.

They showcase their work, talent, and creativity

Seribu Islanda Regent, Junaedi appreciated the viralism performance which was shown by 30 finalists of Seribu Islands Abnon at the night. They showed various performances such as lenong, dance, group vocals, story telling, and others.

"They showcase their work, talent, and creativity. This activity is part of the selection of 30 Abnon finalists," he said, Monday (6/26).

He hoped that they could compete at once

defended the Jakarta None title obtained last year.

"Of course, the achievements that have been achieved can be maintained. Because this is a proud achievement for Seribu Islands," he expressed.

Seribu Islands Tourism and Creative Economy Sub-agency Head, Sonti Pangaribuan explained the gathering night was held to train the finalists to perform in public. Because, they would become ambassadors promoting the Seribu Islands and Jakarta.

"By so, we can see the talent of these finalists. Including seeing a sense of togetherness and teamwork," he explained.

He added it is also a venue for evaluating the materials that the Abnon have obtained while undergoing the quarantine period. The material in question includes public speaking, fashion shows, and others.

"Before the final night, we will have a midterm judging on Saturday (7/1) to test each finalist," he stated.
