June 2024, Collapsed Sheet Pile Repairs at Utan Kayu River Completed

Repairs to collapsed sheet pile at the Utan Kayu River, Jalan Pengayoman, Utan Kayu Utara, Matraman, East Jakarta are targeted for completion in the forthcoming June 2024. It has been since May 9, 2024.

Matraman Sub-district SDA Executing Unit, Inge Sukma Yupicha said the sheet pile as long as 12 meters with four meters high was collapsed after being eroded by heavy water.

"16 personnel have been sent to the location. The initial condition had many holes, thus when it was eroded by high water discharge it immediately collapsed," she stated, Monday (5/13).

Jalan YRS III Repairs in South Jakarta Completed

Matraman Sub-district SDA Task Force Coordinator, Saeful added the repairs used river stone material covered with Dolken wood for support to make it stronger.

"Everything went smoothly because the weather was sunny," he stated.
