Here is Commission B's Input at Pre-RKPD Meeting with OPD and BUMD

The Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Commission B has completed the City Working Plan (RKPD) 2025 together with regional apparatus organizations (OPD) and regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) partners which were held from May 13-14, 2024.

It is very important to provide adequate park and ride facilities

Jakarta DPRD Commissio B Chairman, Ismail stated that his party had gave notes and input to several OPDs, for instance, the Transportation Agency (Dishub), which is the transportation regulator, to add more parks and rides.

"Dishub is currently accelerating the development and integration of mass transportation modes. Hence, it is very important to provide adequate park and ride facilities," he expressed, Tuesday (5/14) night.

He explained the council also provided input to the Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Agency (Nakertransgi) to strengthen the study or curation of some training programs that would be rolled out.

"We give two references. First, ensure training programs whose output from training participants can be widely absorbed by the world of work. Second, training that allows participants to become independent entrepreneurs. We use these outputs and outcomes as benchmarks," he explained.

According to him, notes were also given to the Industry, Trade, Cooperatives, Small and Medium Enterprises Agency (PPKUKM) regarding the development of markets that grow by themselves and have not yet been developed as coached locations (Lokbin) or temporary locations (Loksem).

"There are also locations that actually cause chaos. I want this status be immediately confirmed in collaboration with the local mayor because he has the authority to determine Loksem and Lokbin," he explained.

He added BUMD also had some important notes and input so that the Jakarta Provincial Government's state-owned companies whose report cards were still red, both regarding financial and operational performance, had to have a solution.

"We look at this red report card due to classic problems," he added.

He cited BUMDs which have not yet found a solution to the depreciation problem. As input is given, they must be able to immediately discuss this with the BUMD Development Agency and the related party who gave the assignment, the Regional Asset Management Agency (BPAD).

"A mutually beneficial scheme must be made. On the one hand, they (BUMD) are not burdened with depreciation, and on the other hand, they have the opportunity to manage it, thus it can become revenue for the company," he stated.
