Pak Choy Harvested from Angke Urban Village's Urban Farming

As many as 6 kilograms of pok choy were harvested from Angke Urban Village's urban farming, Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta.

Angke Urban Village Head, Firmansyah, said the harvested pok choy was managed by PKK cadres and PPSU personnel. The planting of various vegetables is run for food tenacity.

"We harvested yesterday. I hope this urban farming will inspire residents to do the same on limited land," he said, Thursday (5/16).

Meanwhile, Tambora Sub-district's KPKP Agriculture Instructor, Dede Sulaiman, stated the harvested pok choy is planted using the hydroponic method in 72 net pot holes with a planting period of 30-35 days.

"We share the results of this harvest with the community to fulfill the nutrition that comes from vegetables," he stated.
