Inspectorate Holds Bimtek for Anti-Corruption Education in E. Jakarta

The Inspectorate held technical guidance (Bimtek) for the Implementation of Anti-Corruption Education at the East Jakarta Mayor's office, Wednesday (5/29). This Bimtek was attended by 50 third-echelon officials such as assistants, heads of agencies, sub-agencies, section heads, and sub-district heads.

It was opened by Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar and was attended by the Investigation Assistant Inspector for Jakarta Inspectorate, Supendi, accompanied by East Jakarta Region Assistant Inspector, Ahmad Dasuki.

This Bimtek, the result of collaboration between the Inspectorate and the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), presented a speaker, Ganjar Laksmana Bonaprapta; member of the Criminal Law Studies field at the Faculty of Law, University of Indonesia.

In his speech, he hoped that they would later be able to provide counseling in schools to instill anti-corruption values ​​and mindsets in students, starting from elementary, middle, high school, and vocational school.

According to him, instilling values ​​and building anti-corruption awareness must be done early. Thus, when they grow up, they can develop a disciplined personality.

"Provide an understanding of anti-corruption culture from an early age to students at school. So, when they grow up and become ASN, they are used to anti-corruption discipline," he uttered.

"We will always promote an anti-corruption culture," he asserted.

The same statement also came from the Investigation Assistant Inspector for Jakarta Inspectorate, Supendi. He asserted the world of education plays an important and strategic role in creating superior individuals, character, and integrity.

"Hopefully, they can pass it on to students at school," he concluded.

Aside that, the anti-corruption bus roadshow was also continuing to be held. The bus would operate to visit all the schools in Jakarta.

He also hoped that all administrator officials could teach anti-corruption cultural values ​​to their units through the "Teaching Officials Movement".

"This also becomes a role model for anti-corruption culture in their respective work environments," he stated.
